Al-shabaab beheads 15 people livestock owners, stolen many camels in southern somalia
At least 15 civilians were killed Monday by Islamist militants al-shabaab according to reports by residents living in Lower Juba region on Tuesday.
The militants killed beheaded the livestock owners after captured. They also stole many camels from the locals. Residents. The killed victims were accused of supporting local forces from Jubaland administration Kismayo.
Al-Shabaab militants has not commented on the latest clashes in Lower Juba region in southern Somalia.
Similar confrontation happened in central Somalia on November after locals rejected to pay taxes (Zakawat) imposed by Al-Shabaab.
